Following an early career in electronics design in various high tech companies in the UK and USA, Paul moved into sales and marketing in the late 80’s with IBM, rising through various management positions in large IT and Telecoms companies.
For the past twenty years Paul has used his wide range of commercial and management skills to develop a number of new business opportunities across various market segments. Highlights of his career include;

  • Avanti Screenmedia Commercial Director responsible for all commercial activities including sales, marketing and advertising . Floated onto AIM market in Jun 2004

  • Famoice an Australian entrant into the mobile content business in Europe, Head of Europe winning business with brands such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, MacDonald’s and Vodafone.

  • room33 Managing Director for UK and northern Europe mobile internet company selling services into operators such as Orange.

  • Business Consultant developing telecommunications and e-commerce business plans to many companies including UK power utility (nPower).

  • Developed World Telecom into an industry leader in Value Added Communications, growing the revenue to £30m, floated onto AIM and promoted to Managing Director.

Paul’s skills cover the full range of disciplines necessary to turn business ideas into commercial reality. Paul is equally happy running and managing businesses and people as he is creating companies, business plans and commercial success.

He has established partnerships with Airlines, Telcos, Banks and Retail and has sold into over 80 of the top 100 UK companies gaining experience of man management and budgets. Joe has a strong understanding of both above and below the line marketing and a great depth of knowledge of on line marketing. Joe posesses a proven track record of generating profitable new business within both blue chip companies and start ups. Highlights of his career include:

  • Pipex Business Services Major Account Manager selling new security services into online financial services market

  • Virgin.Net Head of Business Development, restructured sales channels resulting in 35% year on year growth primarily through Digital Channels

  • Targian New Media Sales Director, signed adverting contracts with the like of Pizza Hut, Microsoft and Yellow pages

  • World Telecom Sales Manager, sold a new telecom service into 80% of the FTSE100.

  • Hertz Car Rental National Account Manger, sold contracts into business such as Marks And Spencer and IBM

  • Morphy Richards Area Manger, sold FMCG into major multiple retailers, such as Selfridges, Harrods , Argos and John Lewis.
